"Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, as is now evident from observations of increases in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice, and rising global average sea level." The IPCC Fourth Assessment Report. IPCC Fourth Assessment Report. We've moved on from the debate over what Climate Change is happening or it isn't. The global average temperature data clearly shows a constant and rising trend upwards, glaciers are melting and sea level is increasing. Many argue that the normal conditions of the planet is that of changes, and they'd be 100% correct. But what's occurring right now is unprecedented, unnatural changes that have the potential to affect humanity as a whole, very adversely indeed. The majority of the rise in average global temperatures since about the turn of the century very likely attributable to the observed increase in man-made greenhouse gas concentrations. Human influence is evident in a variety of other manifestations associated with Climate Change. There is no doubt that we continue to alter our climate systems. For at least the next 20 years, we have already made our bed that now beckons to be slept on. As there exists an "lag" in the climate system as a result of processes like feedbacks and the capacity of the ocean to absorb heat, warming in the coming 20 years is completely unavoidable. Even if greenhouse gas concentrations were to remain constant at levels of 2000 however, we would see oil mist collectors warming over the next twenty years. This is how delicate the climate system is and at the moment, we're only feeling the effects of the greenhouse gases (and other human-made factors) that were released decades ago. The effects of what we are doing today will not be fully realized until the next century. That's why we are all required to begin thinking carefully about the ways in which we treat our planet. I've not even touched on the negative consequences of Climate Change or a mistreated environment since it's sad. No matter who you are or what you believein, large scale global climatic changes will affect you. Not only the geeks have a lot of concerns about this. Massive human displacement, droughts food insecurity, and more are possible. I'd suggest there is a valuable to learn from what we've accomplished. It is that we recognize that we have the capability to influence the future of our world. With our choices and actions, we can mold the world in the way we want to. If we choose to repair past mistakes and to change the future for the better We can. Everyone is in a good position to start making adjustments from...well right now. By starting to use eco-friendly technologies that lessen our reliance on fossil fuels and other things such that we are able to shift the balance to our advantage. Another advantage (I believe anyway) of living an efficient lifestyle is the financial. The world is becoming aware of the need for alternative energy and I'm of the opinion that everything was necessary. Nowadays, it is possible to generate more than enough energy using wind and solar power to run a house and you can buy an instructional guide to show you how to convert your car in order to operate on a mix of water and gas, effectively creating a sort hybrid fuel cell using hydrogen. I'm afraid I do not have time to study all the possible methods you could use to get cheaper and cleaner energy, but I have personally tried two. I'd recommend building your very own solar and wind power system and driving your vehicle on water. I've done both and they actually work. If I could make a suggestion, I'd like to advise you not to take my word for it and look into some effective technologies. There's no need to be concerned about the environment or anything similar to that, renewable energy will help you save a significant amount of dollars. The links below are where I got my renewable energy technology They're both decent reviews. You can decide your own.
